Driving just now and had to deal with this.... Shitty MS paint drawing for reference.
Starts off ass hat in a green jeep commander is in the right lane (on a different part of the road) along with a civic or something in front of him. I let the civic in, and jeep dude needs to go behind me. Pretty average stuff so far, no? He persists acting like he's going to get in front of me, to which I continue maintaining speed and he figures it out. You go dude!
Didn't end there, asshole privileged wanna-be on his phone leaning over as far as he can in his drivers seat is on some meaningless rage. We get to said pictured intersection. The two left lanes are turning lanes into the Hospital, and the right lane starts off all the way over and shifts left. They did this so that traffic could get into the hospital on the turning signal without being stuck behind someone going straight.
Makes sense.
Well douche-bro in his Jeep decided rules don't matter, and got in the middle lane. I knew this would happen deep down, but gave him the benefit of the doubt that he was turning like you're supposed to. Well NOPE. A car or two in front of him go forward instead, so I reacted and didn't speed up too much so I could go in behind them. Jeep bro had one car turn left in front of him where I was going to fill the gap, but as I start coming over he speeds up and doesn't let me in (almost hitting me), to which I have to slam on my brakes from a parked car on the right.
People are assholes.
Luckily the person behind him did the same thing but saw their mistake and stopped to let me in.

At that point I let him hit my truck and then let the police and insurance sort it out. Ow my neck!
Then again I bounce off rocks and trees in my truck so what's one more battle scar?

True, I tend to go full asshole on people like that when I'm driving my truck. I feel I'm teaching them is not nice to be an asshole.
